Join us for our 12th annual Chand Raat & Eid Bazaar, your ultimate destination for all things Eid! Whether you’re looking for the perfect outfits for the family, jewelry, Abayas, hijabs, shoes, bangles, or even a professional henna artist, we have everything you need to celebrate in style.
This event is FREE and open to the public, and each year, it grows bigger with hundreds of people from diverse communities coming together. You’ll find a vibrant marketplace filled with unique stalls offering something for everyone.
What is Chand Raat?
Chand Raat, which means "Night of the Moon" in Hindi and Urdu, marks the night before Eid when families and friends gather to celebrate the sighting of the new moon, signaling the arrival of Eid and the start of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It’s a time of joy and celebration—women and girls adorn their hands with henna (mehndi), sweets are prepared, and final Eid shopping takes place.
